A simple, traditional loaf made with buttermilk and leavened with bicarbonate of soda rather than yeast. Truly delicious hot from the oven, for dipping in soup or mopping up saucy dishes, or equally delicious as toast, with your favourite toppings, as we serve it in the café. Ample butter is a must, in all cases!

Pre-Order Info

We bake our bread to order, ready for collection on Wednesdays and Saturdays, with our pre-order cut off time being 5pm the day prior to collection. Bread will be freshly baked on the morning of collection, ready for you to pickup by 12pm (sometimes earlier). You’ll receive a notification email to inform you that your order is fulfilled and ready on the day of your collection.

Top Tip

To re-fresh the loaf, simply run under a tap to soak the crust and pop into a hot oven for 10-15 minutes (or until crisp on the outside and hot in the middle).
